End User Agreement

Last updated 3 September 2026

Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This document was prepared as a starting point for legal review. It is not legal advice and has not been verified against the law of any jurisdiction.

Scope

This End User Agreement covers your licence to use Hush and the content it generates for you. It sits alongside our Terms of Service, which governs the broader relationship, and our Privacy Policy, which covers your information. Where this Agreement and the Terms of Service genuinely conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.

1. Your licence to use Hush

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Hush for your own private enjoyment.

This licence does not permit you to: use the Service commercially or on behalf of any organisation; share, sell, sublicense, or provide access to your account; use the Service to build a competing product; or use automated systems to access it at scale.

2. Content generated for you

We claim no ownership of the stories and audio generated for you. You may read, listen to, and keep them for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You acknowledge that:

  • The content is produced by automated systems, not authored by a person.
  • Similar or substantially identical content may be generated for other users — what you receive is not unique to you.
  • Whether machine-generated work attracts copyright at all is legally unsettled and differs by jurisdiction. We make no representation that you hold enforceable exclusive rights in it.
  • We do not guarantee that generated content is free of similarity to existing works.

If you publish a story to the Global list, you grant the licence described in section 6 of the Terms of Service.

3. What you are agreeing about the content itself

You acknowledge and accept that:

  • The Service produces sexually explicit fiction. That is its purpose. You are choosing to receive it.
  • Everything generated is fiction. Characters and events are invented and depict no real person.
  • Content is not reviewed by a human before it reaches you. It is generated on demand and delivered directly.
  • Automated systems are imperfect. Despite the preferences and exclusions you set — including the "never include" field — generated content may occasionally fail to respect them. The exclusions you set are instructions to a model, not guarantees.
  • If content distresses you, the appropriate response is to stop using the Service. We provide no warranty that it will suit your preferences or expectations.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree that you will not attempt to use the Service to generate content prohibited by section 5 of the Terms of Service — in particular, and without exception, any content sexualising a minor.

Attempting to do so is a fundamental breach of this Agreement. It will result in immediate termination, and where the law requires it, referral to the relevant authorities.

You are responsible for keeping generated content private and secure if you download it, and for ensuring your possession of it is lawful where you live.

5. Availability of your content

We do not guarantee that stories or audio will remain available. They may be lost through technical failure, or removed when you delete your account, delete a story, or if the Service is discontinued.

Download and keep your own copy of anything you want to keep.

6. Termination of this licence

This licence ends automatically if you breach this Agreement, and ends when you delete your account or we terminate it under the Terms of Service.

On termination you must stop using the Service. Content you have already downloaded remains yours to keep for personal use, subject to section 4.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The disclaimers and limitation of liability in sections 10 and 11 of the Terms of Service apply to this Agreement in full and are incorporated here by reference.
